Illustrations made in 2003 for an article in Humanist Magazine (the Netherlands). In the article the practice of cloning and ethical dilemma's posed by practices of genetica are measured against views in filosophy. 

 

Nietzsche, Foucault, Heidegger and in particular post-modern Dutch filosopher Peter Sloterdijk's views on topics such as autonomy, roots, state, materialism, individualism and politics in a thought provoking article that mentions a cultivation- and taming project and the terror of selection in the wake of loneliness that is engraved by developments in technology and ICT.
