INOVERTED

Leoniscareful has been influencing, but the numbers say nothing

After seventy hand made physical drawings it is time to face the numbers

We decided early on to stop mentioning the hypes that had started to dominate press, such as Brexit or Corona, because living in a personalised life cycle management system makes us wonder wether our thoughts and actions reflect what we read, hear and see or vice versa, wether the information we consume is a rwflection of our lifestyle. The answer is boring. Both is happening simultaneously in most cases. The reality we came to live in was not in any way reflected by media or institutions anymore, that had seemingly abandoned its connections with the public in favour for a manipulated reality in support of automation, data jpurnalism and the outdated intellectual baggage of the past. Populations had grown, leaders shook hands, trading and travelling was liberated and the orphan and new life pets, babies and race representations that surrounded us was a subject we had to seek out ourselves. Pity that was everything really happening these days. And death, homos and sex had become taboos.

Why would we not express our personalised realities?

This gave us all the more motivation to express our thoughts on a crazy, absurd, scary, extreme and sometimes torturous reality experienced in our own personal media landscape that was mostly gathered from word of mouth. Playing, acting, automation, nudism, origins, the originless, the algorithms of profit, the changes in size, dimension and scale of both our landscape and national identity had been over shadowed by the exciting numbers of the new world, formerly known as the developing world. The idea of using visual output as the backbone of our output? came only natural, since we had over a decade of experience making illustrations for print media. We decided to use the webshop as the main feature of our communication because the illustrations were meant to be a personal memory in certain ways shared by others or all the same, something like that.
