The world may have opened her thighs, female genital mutilation is still a practioce in some countries including Egypt and Gambia for now
Hopeful first responses from a Gambia INOVERTED member shows understanding of criticism
Let us open her thighs and open her mind
Womenś rights have been experiencing an enormous improvement since secularization and the ability for females to study in most parts of the world. In the Netherlands, where I come from, there are now more female general practitioners and soctors than males. The same goes for homosexual, transsexujal and intersexual inhabitants in most of the European Union. Awareness of ones own health or wellbeing begings with the knowledge and the ability to gain it. How to treat penises and vaginas is not even mentioned in the Qu´ran, neither is extremist thought against gay people or homophobia an issue if you read the book by the word. And unfortunately, this was until recently and only in the past century or so the case in most people living in the Arab World. The rites, rituals and judgements that caused the polemia in Europe after the Arab Spring revolution brolught a sense of liberty and freedom to the many young people that were or are still living in the countries of the Middle East and North and Middle Africa. This is a continent that has people with the kindest of people as well as an area where the clash between the religion comes to a historic standstill that causes wars in the Middle East time after time.
Break the glass ceiling too for Muslim women
The glass ceiling has been broken and some would say the pink ceiling never existed.,. There is always pricks that will deny a good attack at a bonded countries antics. One of the main beneficiaries of inoverted.space is Gambia ISS and our connection has been through our mutual desire to break with conventions with the utmost care for the traditions and rituals that are at stake and that people have as a conviction and had for generations before them. The fact of the matter is that before 2010 most as in more than three quarters or more of the Arabic women living in, for instance Egypt or Libya had never heard of Beyonce let alone Shakira. Her album was out in the Western World and while the occidental message that resounded in our gyms, bars and stores was ´Single Ladies ´(Put A Ring On It),´ coincidentally from her multiplatinum selling album called B´Day. Too much was going on to be able to really still keep track of the news but the Arab Spring was also called the Facebook Revolution and involved an opposite movement of Western Old World inhabitants of Europe towards the south, There were revolts coups d´etats or attempts at them and the one thing that has become the unspeakable subject ever since the Arab Spring, the dawn of New Life, Hybrid Life and Transsexual, Non-ninary opr otherwise self defining as a new breed. The new young at times uneducated and homeless certainly would not be left into th hands of those aging and impoverished Europeans, where the Old World was suffering its first ever bankruptcy, the Greek Debt Crisis and the meddling that happened while Angele Merkel had bravely announced ´Wir Schaffen Das,´ about the millions of refugees, often single men were influenced by their phones and the people trade and smuggle was working like a new industry, that was notg quite Holiday Inn yet. But the Holiday, for many of these revolutionists, was simply what they demanded in life, after seeing that everyone else in conventional developed countries were travelling the world all the time with little retrictions.
The Dutch Wikipedia entry refers to female circumcision as female genital mutilation
Leave female genital mutilation behind us
